Cycling Training

The Cycle Centre is able to offer cycling training to the general public. This can be as simple as showing you how to fix simple problems with brakes and gears or mending a puncture.

Training programmes are also provided in cycle maintenance and safe cycling that are accredited through the Open College Network. National Standards road saftey training Levels 1-3 are also available. For more information on these courses, come into the Cycle Centre or contact us.

The training is funded by Middlesbrough Council and the Middlesbrough Healthy Town Programme.

The Cycle Centre also offers guided ride instructors and is available to lead rides in and around Middlesbrough. These can be used for something as simple as planning a cycle route into work, to leading a group on a tour of the local area and routes.
